New Year - 2015

Time goes by fast when you are having fun. By now we are back into the full swing of things training wise working on the weaknesses and building on the strengths.

I am still woking out the remainder of the year race wise however the first part will consist of Challenge Melbourne Half followed by Iroman Geelong 70.3. These are fantastic races with quality fields but all within a stones throw from home so it does not interfere with the remainder of the prep for Ironman Malbourne - Asia Pacific Championships held late March.

Christmas was also an exciting time of the year with the birth of Matilda, our first child and it has been a blast spending the past month watching her develop and her personality grow. It still amazes me the entire process how a human can grow inside you then pop on out, knows to start breathing and has an instant bond. Amazing.

The first 4 weeks of the year have been fantastic, enjoyable and if I can order another few rounds of them the year will be rolling in a positive direction.
